Does that mean that Florrie got all the adorable genes?

    • steelraven

Personal, I prefer a lady who knows how to use a billy club.

Isn’t that “baton” rather anachronistic? The modern version is based on the Okinawan tonfa (originally used to separate rice from chaff, it evolved into a weapon when Japan banned the native population from carrying knives or swords) but, IIRC, didn’t come into service until the early-to-mid-1980s. I’d think that either a billy-club or even a blackjack would have been more her style.

    • KomiIsDrawing

Yeah, it is, but it fit the action better. I’m not much of a stickler for accuracy, I prefer to do just whatever works best for the comic, within reason. Hence a lady police captain and a lady politician :) Hopefully it’s not too big of a problem for people!

You know what, no. I’ve decided I’m going to stop reading your comic about the most magical city in magical England Land with its wizards summoning avatars of emotions because of a small anachronism. Take THAT, suspension of disbelief!

/not attacking reynard or anyone else I just thought it’d be fun to say, honest /.-.

Silly Ben. Having Nicola Barber with you counts as having the “proper authorisation for doing this”. (At least in her eyes.)

Looks like a good, simple plan that might very well survive further contact with the enemy.

Authorization? Authorization of an asskicking Arbitrator, that’s what.

“We’re coming down to empty the vault now!”
“You’ll have to give me your authorisation password!” **automatic rifle fire** “Uh….okay!”

:D Got to love them authorisation passwords lol!!!

Yes, PR24 style batons, very effective saved a lot of lives. Then the lawyers and media trials managed to make us stop using them. We had to go back to straight batons and riot sticks. Of course, the collapsible ASP style batons are more practical for patrolling officers. Rigid batons are in the way if you have to sit down. Those of us who still work on our feet … umm forgive the tangents:)

    • SpiralingVortices

I like your tangent. Very informative. :D

The Barbers are too cool for their surname. *puts on sunglasses*

  • Ilmari

I also love Nicola. Also seriously. :-p
