Well done if you spotted it already!

Hey, an anthology I’m part of is being Kickstarted right now! It’s another fairy tales book, this time African instead of Europeon tales, and it’s got some amazing names attached, go have a look!

    The batter, err, plot, thickens!

  • Sanjay Merchant

Alexa, you fool! You’ve created a paradox! We’re all doomed! (Yes, including us readers.)

    • fairportfan

Not a paradox – she’d already written the book before she was eaten.

      • Sanjay Merchant

Oh, I’m sure there’s some paradox to be had. :-P

      • Darkoneko Hellsing

Hmm, I saw it the other way, actually.

I think it’s a drawing on the cover, not a picture, and that she published the book once she got back.

        • fairportfan

Ooooh. Okay, looked at in that way –

…and she learnt how ro bake from Alexa.

          • Darkoneko Hellsing

            …NOW that’d be a paradox :D

        • IWX

She wouldn’t have published the book after getting back. She already gave the name of the book (that one) that she published before being abducted.

    Aw, how sweet. : )

And an a MASSIVE confidence boost. Something Rosie (and the rest of them…) desperately needed right then

  • fairportfan

Did Rosie not give her full name during introductions? And, while the picture on the cover is a touch out-of-date…

Well, let’s just say that, if i were put in a situation like Alexa’s, and one of my fellow captives was a woman named Irma Rombauer, i’d sit up and take notice…

    • Sparky

She never said Rosemarie, and Bell’s fairly common as far as last names go.

She just said Rosie! The only time her surname’s been mentioned was when Ethan called her by it, and Alexa was out of the room. I think with my brains sometimes you see

        • fairportfan

          Hey, i didn’t say YOU weren’t smart.

I just wasn’t sure Alexa was the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I do genuinely mess these things up quite often though! This time, I am safe.

You want to be careful when you bake that you don’t accidentally get a cookie-pie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g0W1wdK8-0
