Randomly- Whoops I slipped and made a custom My Little Pony of Harry. She was fun!

Just to state again, this story’s coming to an end near the end of the month, and I could do with some help from some of my art bros! I’d like to run guest strips for a week or two while I buffer up the next story, so if anyone could send me something I’d appreciate it! Email me at kojiro_muyo@hotmail.com :)

Transcripts

(Atop the table, Sid is clearly in difficulty, off-balance and retreating as Macavity pushes forwards…)

Macavity: Having trouble there?
Macavity: Why don’t you just steal my sword, if you’re that good?

Sid: (parrying a high swipe) That’s a bit beyond me!
Sid: I do have your pocket watch already, though!

Macavity: Rgh!
Sid: If you didn’t like that, I wouldn’t check for your keys, either..!

(Macavity hooks his sword into the edge of the tablecloth as Sid talks, then pulls it out from under Sid’s feet, sending his sword tumbling from his grasp as he falls backwards…)

Macavity: I’ll have them back from what’s left of you!
Sid: Ack!

Macavity: (stepping forwards to point the tip of his sword at Sid’s face) Long live the king, an’ all that..

Harry: Hoy, Your Majesty.

(She grabs the fallen sword from the table, shoving the mat and idol into Sid’s arms.)

Harry: Swap you.
Sid: Much appreciated!

I just recently discovered Widdershins and I will miss Sidney and Harry after this month! FYI, I shared Widdershins on my weekly webcomics review this week (http://lithicbee.wordpress.com). Thanks for the fun webcomic!

I can see this going very well, indeed. ^^ There’s more to being a king than being a good footsoldier, and for a thiefking, cheating is pretty much the name of the game, isn’t it? Having skilled ‘underlings’ ready, willing and able to do some of the work for you and not stab you in the back seems like a great recommending quality for a thiefking, to me.

Hang on… “Hoy, your majesty” comes from Mr Malik’s left… and then Harriet appears on his right.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaatt?! *wheeze*

Haha, I tried having the bubble pointing to the left, but it looked too much like it was coming from Macavity that way. My fault, stupid composition, didn’t think it through enough apparently!

If you would consider a redo, I would suggest either no tail at all on that speech bubble, and then you could place it anywhere. Or you could have the tail point all the way to Harry in the next panel. After all, that’s where the reader is headed anyway after reading that speech bubble.

As for me, I think I just missed it completely when I read those two panels. It was so sneaky down there. ;-)
