Why, it’s the last page of the first story! Don’t worry though, much more to come, and it’s certainly not the last you’ve seen of these two! Now, importantly, I’d better mention that for the next two weeks, probably until March 12th, I’ll be running guest comics and sketches, so I’ve got time to work on the script and a bit of buffer for story two, arrange this one into a printable state for immanent bookage, and work on the Darken book too. So have no fear, you’ll have something to look at while I’m fussing away!

I do hope you’ve enjoyed this first story, all feedback is welcome! Thanks for sticking with me!

Transcripts

Sid: I was kind of surprised, you know, that it didn’t come down to the last minute of the last day of the bargain, like it always does in the books..!

Harry: (leaning down to put Gren’s lead on) Hrm. Timing’s not my thing.
Harry: Next time we wait.
Sid: Next time, yes! Sounds good!

Sid: But.. what’re the odds the odds of a bizarre adventure like that happening again, really?
Harry: Low, I’d wager.

Sid: I suppose.. So, until then, if you need any wizarding done..
Sid: Or, um, card tricks..!

Harry: We made a decent team, Mr Malik.
Sid: Same to you, Miss Barber..

(He lifts his hat and offers a shallow bow as she starts to walk away, then turns to go his own way…)

Sid: Same to you.

This is perhaps my favorite comic I’ve ever read, and its only just beginning. Its nice to see such good work out on the internet, and is quite refreshing from all the over dramatic or overly gory writing I’ve seen thus far. Well done.

I’d say “Noooooo, don’t part,” if I didn’t know that when anyone says “what are the odds of a bizzare adventure like that happening again?” , it’s bound to happen pretty soon :D Also, I’m in love with the dynamics between them :)

Perfect place to tell you that this kind of story i absolutely adore, and your characters and art and execution of the story… let’s just say i immediately subscribed. By the way, I’m very much reminded of the Dresden Files, in a very good way :) Looking forward to more stories.

I absolutely adored this story, so thank you very much for all your hard work! I’m not sure if the Jeeves reference was to P.G. Wodehouse or not, but Sidney is endearing in the same cheerful and slightly incompetent way as Bertie Wooster.
