It’s ok Mal, he probably sees it.

The Widdershins books have arrived! Come buy one right here right now, only £9.99 for 68 pages of full-colour shiny joy!

The Widdershins Book Club is also now open for business, which allows you to subscribe to receive each new book hot off the presses, and gets you some shiny extras too!

I’d super-appreciate it if you’d buy my silly wizard book!

    filler chapters…

    • KomiIsDrawing

Does it count as filler if it still takes 12 hours to make? :) I was trying to fit it all into one montage page but it didn’t quite work that way, it comes across better this way, sorry!

      • Gillsing

Of course it doesn’t count as filler. One picture says more than a thousand words. It’s why I read webcomics instead of books.

Also, that is the mysterious “mailer-daemon”, isn’t it?

Sometimes the story’s best told w/no dialog.  The last two updates fit that bill.

BS. The last couple of pages have made me really laugh, in a single page with no dialouge. That’s awesomeness.

    Spirit of speed! Right?

Nice sequential montage. This time they don’t even seem to be freaking out any magically-impaired bystanders too much, although I suppose whoever was supposed to be delivering that sack of mail won’t be too thrilled with their methods.

    • If you look closely, there’s at least one alarmed lady next to the mail carriage.

Edit: actually on closer inspection she looks a bit disoriented, maybe tired… ;)

  • Daughter Of Yahweh

I’m personally enjoying the montage sequence style because of how detailed these pictures are; it’s pretty obvious that Henrich is putting in the most effort, Ben is getting the most flak and pain for the effort,  and Mal’s the one who thinks it’s not worth it. And it all looks hilarious. :)

Maybe it’s the spirit of communication, running amok without proper direction?

    • svartalf

There’s a good likelihood of that being the case since it seems that it may be that the mail’s the subject of the buggerup on this update.

Hoi Kate, I dunno how widespread this might be, but I cannot for the life of me get your topbar ads to show. Doesn’t matter what browser I use or whether I disable all my Firefox addons.

I really love the horse morosely munching letters.

    • KomiIsDrawing

Huh, bizarre! They seem to work for me in Firefox- Anyone else having this problem?

      Also, hi :D

      • Toast Goblin

Now works in IE, but not Firefox.  So weird!

I was gonna come to see you in London, but work is bedlam so it didn’t work out :(  I’ll make it one day…

        • KomiIsDrawing

Bizarre D: I have no idea why that’d be!

Shame you couldn’t make it, but I’ll be there in October too, so there’s other chances :) Would be nice to catch up!

          • Toast Goblin

Solved!  So it turns out that if you’re using Ghostery, you have to unblock both DoubleClick and Google Adsense, presumably so they get enough data to know what ads to show.  And then separately allow DoubleClick in NoScript.  But then it works.

Maybe October, then.  I can’t quite believe it’s been about a quarter of my life since then… :S
