  • Darkoneko Hellsing

Oh Ho ! It wasn’t finished after all !

Now juste don’t get possessed or trip on any talisman/magic circle/etc, please, Dominik

    • Darkoneko Hellsing

No, seriously, do NOT touch anything !

      • Me-me

Louder; I’m not sure if he can hear you.

      • Lleyn

Actually, stop breathing altogether – ah, forget it, he’ll screw up anyway.

  • winglmui

Oh hey let’s send the angry hateful little man to assess an anchor which summons things when people with strong emotions are nearby what a wonderful idea!

  • Basil Sage

I, for one, am certain that Dominik will turn out to be great at anchor-assessment!

    (not)

    • bandersnatch

yay you got the knitting right

  • Mujaki

The stupid anchor! It holds together all of the stupidity for that part of the world!

  • Not Me

lol, I had forgotten about the magic anchors, so when I first read this page I was wondering “what’s an anchor doing in a cave under a mountain in the middle of nowhere, and why is it so important?” until I remembered.

  • Mount Everest?

    Far, indeed.

    • Cooper

It’s almost as if this assignment is a punishment or something.

      • Lleyn

Whatever gave you that idea? ;)

  • Report on the anchor? If Private Voss reported that the sky is blue, I’d still want to check it for myself.

  • Andy_in_Germany

Funnily enough, during the third Reich the barmy Austrian and his friends sent a few expeditions off to the Himalaya looking for stuff like this. I’m not sure what they were expecting.

    • In the Himalayas? Looking for a magical ancient Aryan utopia in a place like that sounds like a Thule’s errand.

      • Andy_in_Germany

Well, they had a lot of awfully strange ideas.

  • Anchors away, me boy

  • Del

This anchor is very important. So important that the Nepalese have set a poly-lingual knitting woman to guard it at all times.

    • Darkoneko Hellsing

      I suspect she’s a trained magician.

    • Do *you* wanna try fighting her? Go for it!

No no, go ahead, we’ll all be waiting. And watching.

      • …from a safe distance, methinks.

        • Too right. Ever seen the ‘The Crazies’? – the 1973 version:

          http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/141275/Crazies-The-Movie-Clip-Knitting-needle-murder.html

          • Not my kind of film. I like IMDB’s description, though: “…a manmade combat virus that causes death and permanent insanity in those infected…”

            You’re insane after you’re dead?

            • Sanjay Merchant

Pretty sure that describes a zombie pretty well.

            • Me-me

It’s possible it was in a different order.

              • Actually, what they really meant was “…causes death or permanent insanity…”, going on descriptions

            • {oops – wrong place}

        • Apvogt

I’ll get the popcorn. And the binoculars.

          • Graham Garrett

            Anyone want something to drink?

        • Graham Garrett

You’ll need a telescope from there — here, have mine.

      • rlb

Rule number one: do not act incautiously in the presence of a little wrinkly old man. I presume it goes for little wrinkly old women just as well.

        • Maria Gerasimova

          Smiling too :)

      • John

Is this the witch of the Himalayan anchor?

        • Do you really want me to answer that outside of the comic? :)

  • Sanjay Merchant

No, Voss, he wanted you to asses the ANGKOR. You know, in Cambodia!

  • pdSlooper

That rock on the left side of the big panel looks a lot like Australia.

  • Nuuni Nuunani

im betting on Envy this time around.

    • Andy_in_Germany

Envy is the ‘green eyed monster’ seems about right.

  • Join the army, they said. See the world, they said.

    • rlb

Be grateful, you could’ve been sent to a little village on the French coast…

      • Percabeth_trash

I think I recognise this reference, but the only thing I can come up with is Asterix…

  • Andy_in_Germany

I like the way the ‘steryotypical little Tibetan woman in a cave’ turns out to be multilingual and already looks smarter than Dominik. Although on past evidence the rocks by the entrance are smarter than Domink…
By the way, does his musket/rifle have a cork in the barrel?

  • NoneCallNeTim

Anchor? I barely even knew her.

  • svartalf

Epic. Just epic. Guess we’re going to do Envy, aren’t we?

  • BaronHaynes

I just noticed her eyeline in the last panel is directed above his head :o
