Prince Mal: Ms. Barber! Ms. Barber! Let down your hair!

*A roll of hair comes down the red-and-white-striped tower*

Prince Mal: Why is this hair blond when I know that yours is the truest tones of earth?

Nicolapunzel: My last name is Barber for a reason, you know.

      Haha, I love it :D

You’re not the only one! Bwa ha ha! :D

Eee! Told ya she suspected Fairbarn was bent.

And now, since the coppers have to walk real light around a councilwoman, she’ll call in a consulting detective…

    • Nonesuch

I think it went past suspicion when Fairbairn tried to get that one wizard killed in the street.
That’ll be a fun call: “Little sister (Or is she the older one?), I need you to do my work for me, because my hands are tied…”

      • I think Nicola is the eldest sister.. and that would be hilarious. ^_^

        • KomiIsDrawing

She is indeed the eldest! In order: Nicola, Nora, Harriet, and then Florence and Edmund are twins.

          • Oh my, Florrie’s a twin? Ha, if the family was waiting for a boy, it seems the only way they managed to get one was with yet another girl thrown in! Though based on the ones we’ve seen so far, doesn’t look like they’re lacking in guts or tenacity in the family either way. The sibs we’ve met thus far have been such fun– and the family dynamics in Mink’s family were so fun too! I look forward to seeing more about the Barber family. ^_^

            Have we met Nora yet?

            • KomiIsDrawing

No, you’ll.. well, you’ll know when you’ve met her..

The law being the law, I doubt our fussy little Bibliomancer is going to get out of this situation Scott-free, even if he now becomes instrumental in stopping Fairbairn’s scheme. He did summon one of the Deadly Seven Sins and put it at her disposal, after all. At the very least, I suspect he’s going to be doing this job for a lot longer.

    • But she ‘had the proper forms’.. ^_^;

“I was only following orders,” typically doesn’t get one fully off the hook for this sort of thing.

        • That’s true if you were using that as an excuse to do something you know isn’t right, but if there are useful or helpful applications for this sort of thing (which I can only assume there are if proper forms even exist) then it seems the worst infraction on his part is not being the one to desummon it when he was done.
