Wizards are sort of a mess, spritually speaking, until they’re really concentrating. Sorry this one took a while to appear, Dreamhost was down for a few hours.

If you missed your chance to buy a copy of the beautiful Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales book that I did a short story for, now’s the time to make up for it! Available to buy online now, a book of fairytales, with contributions by Kel McDonald, Kory Bing, Jose Pimenta, Mary Cagle, KC Green, Kate and Steven Shanahan and Lin Visel, and myself.

Mal: Coincidence, yeah, but I knew Wolfe’d never drop it.

What were the chances, fer god’s sakes, a wizard.. Just looking at ’em gives me a headache.

Mal: Didn’t stop Wolfe from trying it on with the lady though. Bet she was a redhead, he’s always like that with them. Even ones that make you smell of pipe smoke for days.
Barber: A redhead with a pipe?

Barber: Did she have a white dog?
Mal: Not ‘less the wizard had it in his hat. Someone you know, Captain?

Barber: No. No, carry on.
Mal: Right, so. They jumped off at Widdershins..

Mal: And I decided the time had come t’ face it like a proper adult, yeah? Very noble and dignified, it was.
