  • Promising start!
I had a laugh about that letter xD

There’s a spam going around about how tell parents that there are things far worse than failing a curse.

  • Jonny S

Absolutely wonderful. This looks to be every bit as entertaining as Darken, and I love that you have set it in my favourite romanticized time period! Out of curiosity, have you read “Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell” by Susanna Clarke? Set in historically accurate 19th century England, with the addition of wizards. One of my favourite books. The start of this made me think of it. :)

I haven’t read it yet, actually! We’ve got a copy, I just need to find time to get around to reading it, it certainly looks like my cup of tea!

  • Bartimaeus

Wheeee! It’s glad to see the new comic updating!

  • Sam Goofus

Great to see Widdershins up and I love the look!

Awww, look at that puppy face in panel three.

  • TrueWolves

Off to a great start. ^n-n^

    • TrueWolves

Well.. not for him though. XP

  • Hurray! My first post. I like this new comments page!

    I’m former ‘Calus’ btw.

Well now, gotta say, I’m intrigued. Can’t wait to see where this story goes!

    “Ah, yes, you see…”

“…An ancestor of mine was friends with the Archdemon of the Seventh.”? :D

Seriously though, i used to have an RP trainee mage character that was so clumsy she messed up everything she touched, but somehow always ended up doing it in such a way that you couldn’t really blame her for it either, because she DID try to do her best to do what she was asked.

A good example was the time of her first magic lesson, and she ended up setting fire to the notes she was supposed to copy for another mage. Or reaching up to take a book off a high shelf and dropping another book onto someone’s toe. Or getting caught giving a warrior a tour through areas she wasn’t even allowed to be in, because he was training to be a guard and she figured he should know what he would need to protect.

I think if she and Sidney would ever meet, they’d cause more property damage than a hurricane :D
