Dogs are indeed man’s best friend, unless that man happens to be a wizard. Canines of all types seem to distrust magic users, a fact which didn’t slip the attention of England’s newly-formed police force. Some dogs, in particular, have the ability to sniff out spells, their casters, and imbued items, and this makes them invaluable.

Well, technically invaluable, anyway, since on her departure from the police, Harry was able to secure herself one fluffy bundle of magic-scenting German Shepherd. Greenwich (pronounced gren-itch) has been trained to the best of Harry’s abilities, which is to say not very well at all. She can zero in on a particular spell with the ease and single-mindedness of a fully-trained police dog, but you shouldn’t trust her alone with a Christmas ham. A fan of table scraps, scratches behind the ear, firesides and chasing wizards, Gren is Harry’s best friend and most necessary tool of her trade.

It’s actually a side of bacon, that’s ok though right?   I love everyone that’s commenting, but please be sure to use the comment section, not the transcript section! I have to delete your lovely comments that you put there and it saddens me :(

That qualifies as looming, Harriet. No-one likes a loomer. Well, it’s Halloween, I guess you get one free loom.   Saw the Tintin movie this weekend and it was completely wicked, severe nostalgia, and I’m a sucker for an adventure film!
